We help you answer the question:
"What are these 16 years of school actually for?"

This is what we're used to.

How Lives get Wasted

  • grade school is mostly busywork

  • college is expensive "exploration"

  • most students don't feel useful till 22 (if ever)

  • the degree? often meaningless.

  • the first job? usually a mismatch.

  • mid-life career-pivots are the norm

  • prayers to the heavens that you can just reach retirement

This is the system we've been handed.

But we don't accept it.

And you don't have to either.

We built something better.

Designed for Families Who Want More

Daobloom is a first-of-its-kind coaching program that helps students (ages 14–20) design a meaningful, high-impact future — starting now.

At the center is our flagship process:

The 4-Lantern Sequence — a step-by-step journey from confusion to clarity, built to help your teen discover who they are, what they care about, and how to build a future they actually believe in.

It’s grounded in:

  • 10+ years of real-world education experience

  • AI-first planning tools

  • Global insight from classrooms across the U.S., China, and Taiwan

  • And a deep respect for the untapped potential in this generation

This isn't a course.
It's a turning point.

Built to Change Trajectories

The families we work with don’t want their teen to drift for 5 years and “figure it out later.”

They want direction. Clarity. Purpose.

And a future their teen can step into with confidence.

That’s what we do.

Let’s 100x your path.

My name is Joel Mounts

I studied pre-med and developmental psychology in college, drawn to questions about how people grow—and how they get stuck. After graduating, I moved to Asia and spent the next eight years teaching full-time.

The first three were in China, teaching English in major cities. Then I joined a globally competitive school in Taiwan, where I spent five years teaching debate and coaching students to perform at the highest levels—helping them think clearly, speak with confidence, and find direction in the middle of high academic pressure.

While in Asia, I earned teaching certifications from Harvard, UBC, and the University of Michigan, and built Debatetrack, a platform that continues to serve thousands of students around the world through YouTube and personalized coaching.

I also work as a programmer, with hands-on experience in AI—tools I now use to help students make smarter, more future-focused choices.

I’ve seen what great education can look like. I’ve also seen how often smart, capable students drift—not because they lack potential, but because no one helped them connect the dots early enough.

And that's what I offer: clarity, structure, and the kind of guidance I wish every student had access to.
